Content

Editorial feature

Most of the posts you see on this site are independent feature articles that have been written for commissions for various titles, from CNN to ZDNet and New Scientist (read more about this on the “About” page).

Some are a result of pitches sent to the title’s editor, others (like most of the B2B articles) are written according to the brief from the editor.

You can explore some of the subject areas I’ve covered by following the tag links on the homepage.

Content marketing

According to the Content Marketing Institute, content marketing generates three times as many leads as outbound marketing and costs 62% less.

Increasing sales and better customer engagement are the main reasons companies approach Piece Boutique for help with content creation. From blog posts to advertorials, newsletters and custom magazine editorial, Piece Boutique can deliver the original, well-written content that you need.

Over the years we’ve worked with all kinds of businesses, from marketing agencies to universities and global companies. Here are a few examples:

Home Hunts

Piece Boutique has been working closely with luxury buyer’s agent Home Hunts on their content creation for the last five years. Each week we produce a minimum of two posts for the company’s blog at www.home-hunts.com and online magazine DeLux.

We also produce annual insights magazine “Inside France” for Home Hunts (follow link for download), a ten-page, full-colour product. This goes out to clients and is sent to the press through the PR company.

It increases Home Hunts’ presence in the media – which is already very impressive thanks to the brilliant work of P1 Communications – and client engagement by enhancing existing relationships and bringing in new customers.

From posts in The Good Life France to advertorials in Elite Traveler, we also write any additional content Home Hunts requires to enhance their inbound marketing – because it works.

The Connexion

For several years we wrote around 25 advertorials each month for The Connexion newspaper, France’s only national English-language newspaper.

For expats living in France, small businesses are their life blood, it’s how they survive in a country where the language barrier often prevents them taking positions with existing companies.

We absolutely relished this job as it led us to connect with hundreds of hard-working, self-employed people all over France. Each advertorial had to be written in the newspaper’s style and required research, interviews with the business owners, fact-checking, laying out in InDesign and proofreading.

Piece Boutique worked remotely alongside the newspaper’s designers, advertising executives and the editor to produce these advertorials.

If you want to know what The Connexion’s editor thought of the work we did for them, then have a look on the Client Feeback page.

Knight Frank

Knight Frank is the biggest privately-owned property agency in the world, so when the company approached Piece Boutique to produce the content for their new magazine French Riviera View, we were only too happy to oblige.

Renowned for The Wealth Report – and generally for being content marketing geniuses – we couldn’t have been more pleased to work with Knight Frank on this exciting project.

Working with their design agency, we wrote all the editorial copy for this full-colour, 52-page magazine. It involved interviewing a famous interior designer, relevant consultants and the director of the Riviera branch, as well as research, editing, fact-checking and proofreading.
